Bring artists into the life of UW–Madison.

Arts residencies connect artists with students, faculty, campus partners, and Madison communities through creative practice, collaboration, and public engagement.

Sponsorship & Seeding

Provide foundational support to launch or scale an emerging arts initiative.

Best for: New programs • Festivals • Series • Long-term growth

A collaborative initiative of the Division of the Arts and the International Division, International Visiting Artist Program (IVAP) creates opportunities for global artists who might not otherwise have the opportunity to share their work, expertise, and perspectives in the United States. Developed in collaboration with campus and community partners, IVAP residencies foster deep cross-cultural exchange.
