The Division of the Arts is committed to nurturing arts learning, creative exploration, and engagement across UW–Madison. We offer several arts awards as well as funding and communications support for arts projects, partnerships, events, residencies, and more.
Creative Arts Awards
The Division of the Arts offers awards annually to faculty, staff, and students in the arts. Funding totaling over $120,000 is available for creative arts research, outreach, and achievement.
Applications open October through December.
Arts Business Competition
The Bolz Center For Arts Administration and the Division of the Arts annually invite students from across campus to submit proposals for an arts event, exhibition, performance series, or other artistic project. Proposals are reviewed by a team of judges, and three applicants are invited to the finals. All finalists receive cash awards.
