Mission
The Division of the Arts partners with UW–Madison curricular and non-curricular arts units to support and promote their missions across campus, throughout the community and across the state. We provide resources, foster interdisciplinary collaborations, deepen the student experience, build community engagement, and advocate for UW–Madison arts and artists.
Vision
The Division of the Arts strives to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive arts community that empowers creativity, strengthens connections, and celebrates diverse perspectives. As part of the Wisconsin Idea, our work serves the university, the state of Wisconsin, the United States, and the world. Through our programming, resource support, communications and advocacy, we showcase the arts as accessible, meaningful and essential.
