Seeing Audubon: Robert Havell, Jr. and The Birds of America
Chazen Museum of Art 750 University Avenue, Madison, WISeeing Audubon presents the ongoing research of artist, printmaker and UW–Madison Associate Professor Emily Arthur as she explores the techniques and methods that Havell Jr. used to print The Birds of America. Additionally, two volumes of a complete four-volume set of The Birds of America are on view in this exhibition.
Suspended Landscapes: Thread Drawings by Amanda McCavour
Chazen Museum of Art 750 University Avenue, Madison, WIMcCavour, who works with fabric and stitching to create embroidered installations, developed a new site-specific work in response to the collection and history of the Chazen Museum of Art and UW–Madison. The work will challenge the visual weight and dominating presence of the design and travertine marble of the Elvehjem building.
Katelyn St. John: Dream House
